The Japan Wine contest has awarded the bronze medal to De Alberto Verdejo Ecológico
The De Alberto Verdejo Ecológico wine has received the bronze medal at the Japan Wine Challenge. The wine competition, the oldest and most prestigious in Asia, was celebrating its twenty-fifth edition with an eye toward making quality wines known to a very demanding market such as Japan.
The jury recognized the virtues of this refreshing and intense Verdejo produced by De Alberto, in which the citrus and white fruit aromas stand out. Very balanced on the palate and with good structure, it is ideal to share with light dishes, rice dishes, salads, fish or shellfish.
The year 2022 is being historic for Bodegas De Alberto, which has not stopped collecting recognitions in the different events where it has been present. This last award is added to the one received last October in the Selections Mondiales des Vins contest (Canada) as well as those awarded in June during the 'Decanter World Wine Awards', where De Alberto Dorado Dulce obtained the medal of gold with 96 points and De Alberto Pálido took silver with 92 points, after the 98 points and the 'Excellent' category obtained by De Alberto Dorado in the 'Decanter Panel Tasting' in February.
Another of the great forums of the year, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, marked the triumph of Monasterio de Palazuelos Verdejo 2021, which won the Gold Medal, while De Alberto Verdejo Ecológico 2021 won the Silver Medal.
In addition to all these recognitions, the Great Zarcillo de Oro, the Great Gold Medal in Vinespaña, the 95 points of the Peñín Guide and the 91 Parker Wine Advocate points, the Bacchus de Oro, obtained last May by De Alberto Dorado or the Gold Medal at the CINVE Awards that went to De Alberto Ecológico 100% Verdejo DO Rueda 2021, made with Certified Organic Agriculture vineyards.
Already in our country, the Mezquita Awards, held in Córdoba, reserved three gold medals for De Alberto Dorado, De Alberto Dorado Dulce and De Alberto 80 Aniversario and one bronze for De Alberto Pálido.
The winery itself has also been recognized in recent months thanks to the Silver Medal in Vinalies with its Finca Valdemoya Rosado, the recognition of Best Fortified Wine at the Verema 2021 Awards, thanks, once again, to De Alberto Dorado, and the mention special to the Best Wine Tourism Project.
