Two students from ESI Valladolid will design the label for Finca Valdemoya Rosado from Bodegas de Alberto

Estela Pascual and Álvaro Bravo have been winners of the contest that Bodegas de Alberto launched in November for the creation of the brand image of this wine among the third and fourth year students of the Valladolid Superior School of Design (ESI ). Each of them will receive 350 euros and, in addition, the winery has donated 1,300 euros to the school aid fund.

The designs created by Estela Pascual and Álvaro Bravo, students of the Graphic Design Degree at the Valladolid Superior School of Design (ESI), have been the winners of the contest that Bodegas De Alberto launched last November for the creation of the label of its Finca Valdemoya Rosado wine. As Carmen San Martín, CEO of the winery, has pointed out, "Their creativity, originality and identification with the product" have been the issues that have been most valued when choosing the creations of these two young people.

Each one of them will receive 350 euros to continue their training and, in addition, Bodegas De Alberto will donate an additional 1,300 euros that will go to the ESI aid fund.

This closes a project with which a firm commitment has been made to local talent and the professionalism of the youngest to carry out the design of the brand image of a real product that will soon be on the market. A contest that Bodegas De Alberto convened last November, in which third and fourth year students of the Graphic Design Degree were called to participate, asking them to capture the essence of the wineries.

For this, the students enjoyed a master class by the CEO of Bodegas de Alberto, Carmen San Martín -who was accompanied by the commercial delegate of the design company Verallia, Marcos Rodríguez-, in which they were presented with the ' briefing' of the project. Subsequently, they had the opportunity to visit the Bodegas De Alberto facilities: its underground galleries, the 'damajuanas beach' or the barrel rooms, where they learned first-hand and in detail about the process of making their wines.

This award has been an opportunity to get closer to the labor market that is part of the ESI Talent Plan and in which Bodegas De Alberto has not hesitated to collaborate to promote the talent of the youngest. During the contest, the students were able to participate in the complex process of creating a label, where the qualities of the product must be identified and the values of the brand reflected.
